The proceeds from our season raffle, our gift shop, and every contribution (no matter its size), help to keep our ticket prices as low as possible. The goal is to help make Big Top affordable for everyone.
Music can turn around a bad day, set a mood for a celebration, or even help calm us to sleep. Here at Big Top, we also recognize the benefits that aren't immediately felt; how kids who participate in the arts have improved self esteem, critical thinking skills, social skills, and even math and language skills. It's so important to encourage families to come to Big Top, so we offer Free Family Matinees - even families who can't afford to buy a single ticket, can still join us for Culture Under Canvas at the Big Blue Tent. At Bluegrass Camp for Kids, the professional musicians of the Blue Canvas Orchestra strive to ignite a musical spark in a child who may have never even touched an instrument before. Fomenting understanding and appreciation for our own local history and our First Peoples neighbors is the goal of our Native American Community Connections series. Big Top gives back to our community.
